One technique I've been asked about several times over the past few weeks is how to do a lightsaber style effect in Photoshop. Even a few people have asked how to do phasers such as what is seen in Star Trek. Since these are such similar effects I decided to do them in the same article. This article covers the creation of a glowing laser effect (for Lightsabers, Phasers, etc.) using Adobe Photoshop (or Elements).
