Those of you familiar with the web design world may have heard of the site "Design Meltdown" which is a place you can go to see a gallery of other peoples sites categorised under names such as "Green", or "Black" to see sites predominantly designed in those colours. It's a good source of inspiration when you're stuck, and is also good for showing off your latest work. The site describes itself as:
So the goal of Design Melt Down has become to collect and categorize sites into classifications that you simply can't search for. In addition I aim to provide additional links and resources to follow through and implement the given subject. My hope is to inspire and challenge, both myself and my readers.
Now, Patrick McNeil, the guy that runs the site is writing a book that is currently titled "The Web Designers Idea Book" which is due to be released in September 2008. Might be worth visiting the site to keep up to date with his progress!
