I thought a good way to end a quiet month would be to add a new article. This article is on the W3C specification for Widgets and to some degree looks how it could be implemented in PHP.
It seems everyone is in on the action of supporting widgets of some sort whether it's an operating system or an application, or even a web page.
My example does not go into the full detail required by the specification but should be enough to get you started and heading in the right direction.
