Mobile standards are still very much the "in" thing at the minute due to many breakthrough technologies such as the Apple iPhone. In response to the current trend the W3C have released a tool that will help test your site's readiness for being browsed on a mobile deveice. This tool is called mobileOK and will test your site to see if it's mobile ready. The first test it will perform is seeing if it understands GET/mobile requests. In the first few days of it's release I found if your site doesn't then the tool breaks and everything goes horribly wrong. Today however all is working well, though at the time of writing you may notice my site is a little lacking in the mobile friendly area. I am thinking about redoing the mobile version soon, and including the media query based CSS so that mobile devices such as iPhones can still have a rich experience but understand the restricted dimensions (media queries can be used to test browser width).
