It's been a long time in development, but now it's finally here - phpBB3. I tried some of their beta versions and I must say the improvements they've made are great. If you're running a forum based on phpBB2 or intend on either switching to a new forum software or haven't yet got one, then I recommend trying out phpBB3.
Today we begin a new chapter in the history of phpBB. After five years, over 200,000 lines of new and altered code, and many a long night phpBB Group is very proud to announce the release of phpBB3 "Olympus".
What's even better is that despite all the enhancements they've made it's still just as easy to use as always.
