The latest release of Firefox fixes another 47 bugs. Amongst these issues is a fix for cookie related problems where they would suddenly go missing for some sites.
- Fixes several security issues
- Fixes several stability issues
- More languages supported
The vulnerabilities that have been patched are as follows:
- Arbitrary code can be executed after multiple errors have occurred in the layout and JavaScript engines resulting in memory corruption,
- Freed memory can accessed due to an error in the garbage collection system whilst handling cloned XUL DOM elements linked as a parent and child,
- XML can be read from another domain using an exploit from using the nsIRDFService and a cross-domain redirect,
- Arbitrary code could again be executed when handling out of memory conditions from the libpng module
