Icons are always useful, such as the one's I've previously mentioned on IconBuffet. Recently I've come across a link to another site that provides some icons specifically for user interfaces - whilst the quality isn't quite as good they do seem to be more useful with icons that you'd expect to see in a typical application. The icons are all available in a file containing 560 icons in various sizes (there's 140 different icons).
